ROLE
- Safely operate shuttle buses according to all traffic laws and company policies
- Transport passengers to designated locations, ensuring safe and timely arrivals and departures
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking and provide courteous, professional customer service throughout the trip
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including checking mechanical systems, fluid levels, tires, lights, safety equipment, and other required components
- Perform routine maintenance checks and promptly report any mechanical or safety issues
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the bus interior and exterior before and after trips
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, passengers, and other team members to coordinate schedules and address concerns
- Follow assigned routes and instructions while adapting to changing road, traffic, and passenger conditions
- Respond professionally to emergency transportation requests and short-notice assignments
- Adhere to all safety protocols, commercial driving regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and company policies at all times
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when representing the company with passengers and clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class 1, 2 or 4 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (required)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
ASSETS
Driving experience in Northern Canada is an asset
Safety tickets (First Aid, TDG, etc.) are an asset
