First Kaska is the economic development corporation of the Liard First Nation. Located in Watson Lake, Yukon, First Kaska provides a range of construction, transportation and energy services to the public and private sector. Its mandate is to stimulate and sustain the local economy, provide jobs and training to Liard First Nations members and members of local communities. We are looking for hardworking and reliable workers to join our crew!
Position Title: Construction worker (NOC 75110)
Location: Watson Lake, Yukon
Number of Positions Available: 2
Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 40 hours per week
Wage: $28.50 per Hour
Language Requirements: English

ROLE
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
- Erect and dismantle concreate forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concreate and asphalts
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
- Assist in demolishing buildings
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project progress
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license
- 0.5-1 year Previous construction experience

Safety tickets (WHMIS, First Aid, CSTS, etc.) are an asset
